Generating tourism by promoting Malta as a tourist & conference destination
Rotaract launched a 2:52 minute video, directed and edited by Chris Zarb, which focuses on every aspect of the Republic of Malta particularly its People, Heritage, Beauty, Tradition, Culture and Charm.
This video, entitled The Heart of the Mediterranean, has also been entered into a competition launched by the Malta Tourism Authority aimed at generating the best video about Malta with a €1,000 prize. Rotaract Malta President Joseph Meli-Attard says “that while promoting the Maltese Islands as a tourist and conference destination, the video also demonstrates Rotaract’s initiatives as symbol of Rotary ideals which are functional and effective in our Community - initiatives that tackle very important aspects of today’s Society”.
If Rotaract are successful at winning the prize, the award shall be directed towards funding the Rotaract Club's ambitious projects
